The Bristol Hearing Voices Network is a self-help group for people who hear voices, have intrusive thoughts or undergo other unusual experiences. From a psychiatric perspective, these widely experienced phenomena are often understood as symptoms of psychotic illness, however, the group is open to many diverse ideas, and accepts each individual voice hearer’s own interpretations.
