Alzheimer's Society - Bristol Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service

The Dementia Wellbeing Service is delivered by the Bristol Dementia Partnership which brings together Alzheimer’s Society and Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Since 1 April 2015, it has been responsible for delivering dementia services in the city. The service is commissioned by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucs Integrated Care Board. The Dementia Wellbeing Service brings together a whole range of professionals which includes Nurses, Social Workers, Support Staff, Therapists and Medics.

Freedom Youth

Freedom is OTR’s LGBTQIA+ youth programme, providing a safe, joyful and supportive space for young people aged 11-25 who are LGBTQIA+ or exploring their gender and sexuality. Freedom is a friendly, welcoming and relaxed space that helps young people be themselves, find friends and get the support they need. Freedom sessions are full of fun ways to express ourselves and learn new things. All of our Freedom sessions and groups are supported by our friendly team of LGBTQ+ youth workers.

Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHST)

The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) model is delivered in educational settings for children and young people aged 5 up to their 18th birthday. We work with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The teams deliver evidence-based individual interventions, group interventions and have a strong focus on whole school approaches to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.

Recovery services

Our Recovery teams work in Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Swindon. Each team provides care, treatment and support to adults over 18 years with a variety of mental health needs, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis and personality disorders.
